The EDC discussed this at their July 20, <br /> 2012, meeting and determined that the EDC's role is to provide input to the City Council but <br /> not to create the vision for County Road 10. <br /> Discussion <br /> At the July 20, 2012, EDC meeting, the EDC asked to review the two most recent <br /> redevelopment plans/studies for County Road 10, which are the following: <br /> • Highway 10 Reconstruction and Revitalization Plan —August 2002 <br /> • Premium Stop Redevelopment Area Study — December 2006 <br /> The City has implemented a large component of the 2002 plan, which was the County <br /> Road 10 trail way system, including lighting and benches. <br /> Hard copies of the 2002 plan were delivered to the EDC earlier this week. Digital copies of <br /> the 2006 study are attached. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the EDC review the 2002 plan and the 2006 study and provide a <br /> recommendation to the City Council about the process of creating a vision for County Road <br /> 10. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Heidi Steinmetz, Economic Development Specialist <br />
