Design elements of the buildings _r .; _ -; = ` <br /> should include: <br /> • Create dual(front and rear) building facades and well definedu ., <br /> entrances that are interesting and inviting, allowing people to <br /> access the businesses from the street or parking lot. Utilize <br /> covered entrances and window canopies to reinforce a <br /> pedestrian scale. <br /> • Columnar forms at key building corners. - . <br /> • Variety in building planes both vertically and horizontally. <br /> • Utilize high quality materials, including stone, brick, <br /> decorative masonry units, prudent use of EIFS (Exterior _ <br /> Insulation and Finish Systems), and a variety of ornamental �~� <br /> • metals. <br /> • Commercial buildings should maximize frontage along <br /> County Road 10 and should be 1 to 2 stories tall to create <br /> a desired character along County Road 10 and to frame the <br /> site.
