July 16,2010 EDC Meeting Item 6A—Housing Programs Page 4 of 5 • Discussion Listed below are the five housing programs currently being offered to Mounds View residents: • Ramsey County Residential Rehab Deferred Loan o There is a waiting list of about 60 people in the Ramsey County Rehabilitation Program. There are about 18 Mounds View residents on the waiting list, however only one of the applicants is in the top 30. • MHFA Fix-Up Fund Loan • MHFA Rehabilitation Deferred Loan • MHFA Rental Rehab Loan Program • Senior Housing Regeneration Program A flyer with the details of each program is included in the attached July 6th City Council staff report. The City and the Housing Resource Center distributed the flyer to Mounds View residents in their 2nd quarter utility bill. During the first quarter of 2010, City staff revamped the housing page of the City's Website (below is a screen shot of the main housing page). The City provides detailed information for renters, homebuyers, homeowners and landlords on the Website.
