Call to Order: <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:12 p.m. by Chairperson Cindy Carlson. p� <br /> 2. Roll Call: <br /> Members Present: Cindy Carlson, Tom Field, Rosemary Goff(Arrived Late), Wendy Marty, Julie <br /> Olsen, Sean Walther, and EDA Liaison Dan Coughlin. <br /> Members Absent: Dr. Gregory Belting <br /> Staff Present: Community Development Director Rick Jopke and Economic Development <br /> Coordinator Aaron Parrish. <br /> 3. Approval Of Minutes: <br /> Motion/Second: Walther/Marty moved to approve the minutes from August 26th, 1999. <br /> • Motion Carried: 5 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> Commissioner Goff was not present at this time. <br /> 4. Special Business <br /> Chairperson Cindy Carlson welcomed EDA Liaison Dan Coughlin and Economic Development <br /> Coordinator Aaron Parrish. <br /> 5. EDC BUSINESS <br /> A. Election of 2000 Chairperson and Vice Chairperson <br /> The Mounds View Municipal Code Chapter 408.07, Subdivision 1 entitled Economic <br /> Development Commission, Organization states that"at the first regular meeting of the year, <br /> the Commission shall appoint a chairperson from among its voting members and that this <br /> appointment shall be subject to Authority approval and shall consist of a one year term". <br /> Motion/Second: Carlson/Walther moved to approve the appointment of Tom Field as <br /> Chairperson for 2000. <br /> Motion Carried 5 ayes 0 nays <br /> Commissioner Goff not present at this time. <br /> • Motion/Second: Walther/Marty moved to approve the appointment of Julie Olsen as Vice <br /> Chairperson for 2000. <br /> N:\DATA\GROUPS\ECONDEV\EDC\Minutes\Min00\January.doc <br />
