APPROVAL OF EDC MINUTES: <br /> Motion/Second: Field moved and Fox seconded the approval of the January 16, 2004 EDC minutes. <br /> Motion Carried: 6 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> 4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> A. Recognition of Dr. Greg Belting. Chairperson Johnson recognized Dr. Belting's two years of <br /> service as the Chair of the EDC. On behalf of the City and the EDC, Backman presented a <br /> plaque to Dr. Belting. <br /> 5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> A. Commissioner Reports: None <br /> B. Report of EDA Liaison: None <br /> EllC. TCN Chamber of Commerce Update: The Chamber's Annual Gala was held at the Mermaid on <br /> Saturday, February 28, 2004. Three hundred tickets were purchased and over 200 auction items <br /> were sold. The Gala is the largest fundraiser for the Chamber and over $35,000 was raised. <br />
