<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6293 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVE THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS, SET A BID DATE OF JULY 29, 2004, FOR THE <br />HIDDEN HOLLOW STREET 2003 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On May 24, 2004, the City Council approved Resolution No. <br />6269 authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, plans and specifications that meet the City of Mounds View <br />standards have been prepared and are consistent with the preliminary report and <br />direction given by Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as per state statute, with an estimated contract amount in <br />excess of $100,000, publication must be made at least three weeks before the <br />last day to submit bids; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an July 29, 2004, 10:00 a.m. bid date will provide ample time <br />to provide the required notification to contractors as per state statute; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council <br />of the City of, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The plans and specifications for the Hidden Hollow Street and <br />Utility Improvement Project which were prepared pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 6269 adopted by the City Council on May 24, 2004, <br />are hereby approved as the plans and specifications in accordance <br />with which said improvements shall be constructed. <br /> <br />2. That a date to receive bids for said improvements is hereby <br />established as July 29,2004, at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />3. That Staff is hereby directed to cause to be published in the New <br />Brighton Bulletin and in the Construction Bulletin, at least three <br />weeks before the last day to submit bids, a notice to bidders for the <br />implementation of said project as required by law. <br /> <br />. <br />
