<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6301 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVE THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS, SET A BID DATE OF JULY 29,2004, FOR THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW MANUFACTURED HOME PARK SECOND ACCESS <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 4,2004, the City secured a CDBG Grant in the <br />amount of $30,000.00 for the purpose of installing a second access at the <br />Mounds View Manufactured Home Community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 14, 2004, the City Council approved Resolution No. <br />6281 setting a Public Improvement Hearing date and authorizing the preparation <br />of plans and specifications for the Mounds View Manufactured Home Park <br />Second Access Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, plans and specifications that meet the City of Mounds View <br />standards have been prepared and are consistent with the preliminary report and <br />direction given by Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in an effort to receive favorable bids, this project will be <br />combined with the Hidden Hollow Street and Utility Improvement Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, given the combined projects, as pre state statute, with an <br />estimated contract amount in excess of $100,000, publication must be made at <br />least three weeks before the last day to submit bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff included the Mounds View Manufactured Home Park <br />Second Access Project with the advertisement for the Hidden Hollow Street and <br />Utility Improvement Project, which was published in the official newspaper on <br />July 7, 2004, and in the construction trade paper on July 9, 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the event that the City Council does not approve the <br />advertisement for the Mounds View Manufactured Home Second Access Project, <br />this portion of the advertisement will be removed from the second publishing in <br />the official newspaper and removed from the construction trade paper; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 29,2004, 10 a.m., bid date will provide ample time to <br />provide the required notification to contractors as per state statute; and <br />
