RESOLUTION NO. 8387 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED NORTH SUBURBAN <br /> COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (NSCC) JOINT AND COOPERATIVE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS <br /> FRANCHISE <br /> WHEREAS, the North Suburban Communications Commission Joint Powers <br /> Agreement was established in 1983; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the North Suburban Communications Commission Joint Powers <br /> Agreement was last amended in 1990; and, <br /> WHEREAS, amendments have been suggested to the North Suburban <br /> Communications Commission Joint and Cooperative Agreement for the Administration of a <br /> Cable Communications Franchise; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the North Suburban Communications Commission has voted to <br /> recommend the member cities approve the amended North Suburban Communications <br /> Commission Joint and Cooperative Agreement for the Administration of a Cable <br /> Communications Franchise to better reflect current practice, create language consistency <br /> and clarity, and to account for the withdrawal of former member Shoreview. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves the proposed amendments to the North Suburban Communications Commission <br /> Joint and Cooperative Agreement for the Administration of a Cable Communications <br /> Franchise format as shown in the attached Exhibit A and authorizes the Mayor and City <br /> Administrator to execute the document on its behalf. <br /> Adopted this 23rd day of March 2015. <br /> j _ <br /> ATTEST: UtivkiiAZott 1.�D <br /> Jrmes Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
