RESOLUTION NO. 8395 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET REVISIONS WHEREAS, The State performed a routine audit of the City of Mounds View Municipal State Aid Street System (MSAS) applications and found an error; and, WHEREAS, Staff with the help of Stantec found the City was over the mileage by 1.33 miles; and, WHEREAS, Stantec recommended Staff to look for streets that have not had any work done with in the last 19 years, thus keeping the possible pay back lower; and, WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Mounds View that the streets hereinafter described as a revocation should have their designation as a Municipal State Aid Street removed under the provisions of Minnesota law; and WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Mounds View that any street segment revoked with a last date of construction within the previous 25 years shall be subject to a prorated repayment under the provisions of Minnesota law; and, WHEREAS, Quincy Street— (Woodale to County Road H2), Woodale Drive - (Edgewood Drive to Quincy Street) and Jackson Drive (County Road Ito Hillview Road) have not drawn any funding within the last 25 years from the MSAS program. WHEREAS, Bronson Drive has a previous construction award date of 1996; and, WHEREAS, the prorated payback calculated for Bronson Drive is $101,726, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Mounds View that the roads described as follows approving for revocation are: Revocation: 1) Route 238— Woodale Drive (Existing) — Edgewood Drive to Quincy Street 2) Route 238— Quincy Street (Existing) — Woodale Drive to County Road H2 3) Route 243— Bronson Drive (Existing) — Edgewood Drive to Quincy Street 4) Route 245— Jackson Drive (Existing) — County Road I to Hillview Road, and hereby are revoked as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Mounds View authorizes payback of the prorated amount of construction for Bronson Drive in the amount of $101,726; and,
