. . . ~' RESOLUTION 5642 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE OF PUBLIC USE DEEDS OVER CERTAIN TAX-FORFEITED PARCELS AND REQUEST TO WITHHOLD ONE TAX-FORFEITED PARCEL FROM PUBLIC SALE WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has determined that the following described, tax-forfeited parcels are required for Municipal Surface Water and Stormwater Management purposes: I Parcel # 1 Lot 17, Block 1, Edgewood 05-30-23-34-0076 Square, Subj to Easement ; Parcel #2 Lot 18, Block 1, Edgewood 05-30-23-34-0077 Square, Subj to Easement Parcel #3 Lot 19, Block 1, Edgewood 05-30-23-34-0078 Square, Subj to Easement WHEREAS, the developers of Edgewood Square in 1983 dedicated drainage easements to the City of Mounds View over the entirety of the three identified Edgewood Square parcels to preserve and protect the flood storage capacity of the wetlands on and adjacent to the parcels; and WHEREAS, the acquisition of the above-referenced parcels would be consistent with the City's Comprehensive and Surface Water Management Plans; and, WHEREAS, the three Edgewood Square parcels are graphically represented on the attached "Exhibit A," and; WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has determined that the following described, tax-forfeited parcel, as represented in Exhibit B, may have a potential use which is at this time undetermined: I 06-30-23-24-0075 I Parcel #4 I Outlot A, Sherwood Estates WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, seeks to have this parcel withheld from public sale for a period not to exceed six months, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby authorizes application for conveyance of public use deeds for the described public purpose of stormwater and surface water management on the Edgewood Square tax-forfeited parcels as shown on Exhibit A and as identified herein
