<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5691 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 3.15 OF THE <br />PERSONNEL MANUAL AS IT RELATES TO BENEFITS <br /> <br />/,\ <br />{\.\ <br />J WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council adopted Resolution <br />.5671in September 2000 which created a new benefits policy under which the <br />City would pay 80% of the lowest cost family health insurance premium <br />($448.68) and 80% of the basic life insurance premium ($2.32) for non-union and <br />public works employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above-mentioned policy is currently in place for all <br />other union employees (Sergeants, Patrol and AFSCME employees other than <br />seasonal golf course employees); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this plan is cost prohibitive to the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City will return to <br />a flat dollar amount contribution for all non-union employees; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City <br />will contribute a maximum of $451.00 monthly toward health, dental, basic and <br />supplemental life insurance benefits provided through the City; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that annually <br />the City Council will determine by resolution its contribution to benefits; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that Section <br />3.15 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual will be amended to reflect the <br />changes contain herein. <br />
