<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5701 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING OFFICER BOB NELSON TO ATTEND RESTORATIVE <br />JUSTICE-FAMILY GROUP CONFERENCING TRAINING IN GOSHEN, N.Y. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that all out-of-State travel for <br />Conferences be approved; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the police department has secured a grant that will reimburse all <br />training and implementation expenses for Restorative Justice-Family Group <br />Conferencing initiatives; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Restorative Justice training is available February 7-8,2002 in <br />Goshen, N.Y.; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Officer Bob Nelson assigned as the School Resource Officer at <br />Edgewood Middle School, has numerous opportunities to utilize Restorative Justice- <br />Family Group conferencing techniques; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Officer Nelson has expressed interest in obtaining training in the <br />Restorative Justice-Family Group Conferencing Program; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby approve Officer Nelson's request to attend the Restorative Justice-Family <br />Group Conferencing Training being offered February 7-8,2002 in Goshen, N.Y. <br /> <br />Adopted this 28th day of January 2002. <br /> <br />RiC~MaY: <br /> <br />A TIEST: . <br /> <br /> <br />~/~V~ <br /> <br />F.
