<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5714 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INVESTIGATOR TOM KINNEY TO ATTEND <br />TRAINING IN THE USE OF NIGHT VISION EQUIPMENT IN ORLANDO, FL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that all out-of-State travel for <br />Conferences and training be presented to the Council for approval; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the police department has secured a grant that will award a Night <br />Vision Kit and provide and reimburse for all training expenses, transportation, lodging <br />and some meals; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Training in the use and implementation of this equipment is being <br />offered in Orlando Florida on March 25-26th, 2002; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Investigator Tom Kinney was asked to attend this training and <br />oversee future utilization of Night Vision Equipment within the police department; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Investigator Kinney has agreed to receive this training and take <br />responsibility for oversight of this equipment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize Investigator Kinney to attend training being offered in the use of <br />Night Vision Equipment on March 25-26, 2002 in Orlando Florida. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of February 2002. <br /> <br />1>0 <br /> <br />Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />"r\~;J,-~'.hdL-J <br />Kathleen F.
