RESOLUTION 8442 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSIONER TO <br /> FILL THE REMAINING TERM OF ONE OPEN POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, Jessica Birken resigned as a member of the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff advertised for the vacated seat, and received two (2) applications; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 401.02, subd. 1, of the City Code, the City <br /> Council is required to appoint members to the Planning and Zoning Commission based upon the <br /> recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the applications and were <br /> not able to make a recommendation to the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the City Council <br /> choose an applicant from the applications received. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council hereby <br /> appoints Justin Klander as Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission with a term <br /> expiration date of December 31, 2017. <br /> Adopted this 10th day of August, 2015. <br /> Joe Flaherty, (1 yor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (scalY <br />
