<br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5890 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIE\V <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MIN~ESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED FACILITY EXPANSION PLANS FOR <br />EDGE\VOOO 1\1lDDLE SCHOOL LOCATED AT 5100 EOGE\VOOO DRIVE; <br />l\10lJNDS VIE\V PLANl\ING CASES OE01-005 <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, The applicant, Edgewood Middle School (Mounds Vicw Indepcndent <br />School District (21), applied for a development revicw to construct a 15,669 square foot building <br />cxpansion and parking lot alteration; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, Edgewood Middle School is located at 5100 Edgcwood Drive, propcrty <br />zoned R-l, Single-Family Residential, and is lcgally-described as follows: <br /> <br />Subject to road (/Illlhiglnl"(v easements, <br />6.:/0feet (~(south 190.!eet, the southeast ~,~ o( <br />soutll\\'est ~ii of Section 8, TOl\'l/slll!) 30, Range] 3 <br />Ramsey COlll/ly, Srate (~lMil/l/esota <br /> <br />\VllEREAS, on January 28,2002, the City Council adopted Rcsolution 5688, a rcsolution <br />approving a conditionalusc pcrmit and development rcview based on the site plans date-stamped <br />Novcmbcr 28, 200 I; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the applicant has submitted rcvised plans date-stampcd October 28, 2002 <br />which scale back the expansion arca to approximately 12,000 square fcet and is seeking Council <br />reapproval of said plans; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Planning Commission rcviewed the revised site plans on November 20, <br />2002 and found thcm to be in compliance with all applicablc Codcs, and as a result adopted <br />Rcsolution 715-02, a resolution recommcnding City Council approval of the rcvised site plans <br />datc stampcd Octobcr 28, 2002. <br /> <br />NO\V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mounds View City Council, based <br />upon the recommcndation of thc Planning Commission and its own revicw, docs hercby approve <br />the reviscd site plans date-stamped October 28, 2002, reducing thc ovcrall cxpansion area from <br />15,669 square feet to 12,000 square feet, subjcct to thc following provisions: <br /> <br />1. The bui Iding expansions shall match to whatcvcr extent possible thc existing brick <br />architccture, stylc and colors. <br /> <br />2, The applicant shall providc proof of obtaining a RCWD Pcrmit prior to any City permits <br />being issucd. <br />
