<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />( ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2536 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUESTED MODIFICATION TO THE <br />MORITORIUM DISTRICT TO ALLOW THE ADDITION OF A <br />FREE-STANDING SIGN AT MID-AMERICAN AUTO LOCATED AT <br />2975 HIGHWAY 10, PLANNING CASE NO. 275-89 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission and City <br />Council have reviewed the modification request of Mr. Kevin <br />Mullins, Mid-American Auto, to allow the erection of a <br />free-standing sign on the property located at 2975 Highway 10, <br />legally described as the east 166 feet of part northeasterly of <br />highway of Lot 13 and Subdivision No. 89, St. Paul, Minnesota; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the moritorium <br />disrict and the appeal provision outlined in Ordinance No. 466; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the <br />applicant has demonstrated a hardship; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the <br />situation is unique to this property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposed <br />sign meets the sign requirements outlined in Chapter 39 of the <br />City Code (Sign Ordinance); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is located within the moritorium <br />distr1ct on Highway 10; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that approval <br />would not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the <br />public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposal <br />will not affect the integrity of the Comprehensive Plan or the <br />City's Zoning Ordinance or this Interim District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposal <br />is consistent with the letter and intent of the Moritorium <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the moritorium district is a temporary ordinance <br />scheduled to be lifted at the end of April, 1990. <br />
