<br />- <br />-, <br /> <br />. ~ <br /> <br />.-- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2579 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MI~NESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF COhMENDATION TO DON HODGES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Don Hodges is retiring after 25 years of employ- <br />ment with the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during those 25 years Don Hodges served his <br />community in a variety of volunteer activities including, <br /> <br />21 years of service as Mayor and Councilmernber on <br />the Mounds View City Council beginning with his <br />appointment in 1959 <br /> <br />Chairman, member, and volunteer on the original <br />t10unds VieH Parks and Playground Committee. <br /> <br />Member of the Mounds View Charter Commission. <br /> <br />Member and officer of the Hounds View Lions Club <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Active adult leader and volunteer with the Boy <br />Scouts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Don Hodges exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism <br />and commitment to one's community which has helped to make the <br />State of Minnesota and the City of Mounds View such a great place <br />to live. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council on behalf of the residents of the City of Mounds View <br />hereby commends and expresses its heartfelt appreciation to <br />Don Hodges for his dedicated and self-sacrificing service to his <br />community. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~j~~J;ll d4, <br />Mayor J:1ankner <br />
