<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #4498 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1HE CITY CONTRIBUTION <br />OF $2,000 FOR 1HE 1994 FESTIVAL IN 1HE PARK. CELEBRATION. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Festival Committee is comprised of City residents and <br />business persons including Alice Frits, Mark Malone, Jan Quick, Sharie Linke, Diane <br />Overgard, Sherri Timmons, Joyce Radtke, lone Carlson, Glenn Crooks, Don Hodges, <br />J an Lindberg, Peggy Gobel, Bruce Cameron, Mark Valento, Pat Michna and Amelia <br />Gislason, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Festival Committee members are meeting regularly to <br />organize and plan a great celebration for the Community, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contributions from groups and organizations and business are <br />being requested to fund the various activities being planned for this enjoyable <br />community event, and; <br /> <br />. WHEREAS, the Committee has requested a contribution from the City of <br />Mounds View which would provide the funding for entertainment, portable restrooms, <br />and entertainment rental. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View approves the contribution of $2,000 from the City of Mounds <br />View for the 1994 Festival in the Park celebration, funding to be transferred from <br />Contingency Fund to the Recreation Activity Fund 250-4353-210. <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of February, 1994. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />. <br />
