<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />., RESOLUTION NO. 4506 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF 'RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />(CDBG) APPLICATION BY MICHAEL P. KINYON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Michael Kinyon, of Kinyon Properties, has submitted a COBG <br />application to Ramsey County for $26,753; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Kinyon proposes to use the funds substantially rehabilitate an <br />older rental housing unit to provide lower heating costs and covered garage space for <br />two low-moderate income rental households; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Kinyon's property does provide affordable housing to people of <br />low to moderate income levels which benefits the community of Mounds View; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; it is the City of Mounds View's goal to support projects which will <br />rehabilitate older buildings and not significantly add to the monthly rental costs to the <br />tenants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, if Mr. Kinyon's application is approved, the improvements can be paid <br />and not jeopardize the tenant's ability to remain in an affordable rental home <br />environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and for the City <br />of Mounds View does hereby formally declare its support for the project as outlined in <br />Mr. Michael Kinyon's CDBG application and urge approval by.
