<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4540 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING A POSITION RECLASSIFICATION AND FIVE STEP <br />COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE PLANNING TECHNICIAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Paul Harrington was hired by the City on September <br />17, 1990 as the City's Planning Technician; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Paul Harrington assumed responsibility for the <br />Community Development Department in the Spring of 1993 after the <br />departure of the Public Works Director; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Paul Harrington has been performing the duties and <br />responsibilities of a department head for the past year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the Council's desire to reclassify his position <br />and Five Step Compensation Plan to be consistent with the duties, <br />responsibilities and expectations of a department head. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and <br />for the City of Mounds View does hereby reclassify the position of <br />Planning Technician to the position of Community Development <br />Coordinator with the following Five Step Plan: <br /> <br />Step 1 <br />$39,319 <br /> <br />Step 2 <br />$41,776.44 <br /> <br />Step 3 <br />$44,233.87 <br /> <br />Step 4 <br />$46,691. 31 <br /> <br />step.5 <br />$49,148.75 <br /> <br />BE IT <br />Coordinator <br />advancement <br />4 after two <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Community Development <br />shall begin at Step 1, effective April 4, 1994, with <br />to Step 2 after 6 months, Step 3 after one year, Step <br />years and Step 5 after 3 years. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11 day of April, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) : <br />
