<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3040 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MONIES FROM THE SILVER <br />LAKE WOODS IMPROVEMENT ACCOUNT FOR THE PURPOSE OF A <br />PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE TRAIL FROM I-35W TO QUINCY STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of Mounds View and Shoreview have <br />worked collaborately on a proposed a pedestrian/bicycle trail <br />along County Road I in Shoreview to the easterly limits of the <br />City of Mounds View along County Road I between I-35W and <br />Quincy Street to provide a connection between the two cities <br />for children and adults commuting to and from Pinewood School <br />and for bicycle riders; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View and the City of <br />Shoreview have determined that a feasibility report for the <br />crossing of this trail under I-35W is needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is sufficient funds in the Silver Lake <br />Woods Improvement Project account to fund this feasibility <br />report and construction of the trail from I-35W to Quincy <br />Street. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View that $15,000 shall be transferred from <br />the Silver Lake Woods Improvement account for the purpose of <br />the feasibility report and construction of the trail from west <br />I-35W to Quincy Street. <br /> <br />Adopted this 29th day of May, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />
