The proposed garage would not depreciate the neighborhood in that the <br />garage would seamlessly blend into the design of the new, two-story home. <br />5. The proposed oversized garage would be adequately screened by the <br />subject home, mature trees and a garage on the adjacent property. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the conditional use permit request fora 1,062 square foot garage with the <br />following stipulations: <br />The applicant shall arrange to record the City Council resolution approving the <br />conditional use permit with Ramsey County and provide proof of such <br />recordation to the City within sixty days of Council approval or this permit shall <br />be considered null and void. <br />6. The garage shall not be used for living space or other uses not allowed by the <br />district in which it is located or by the Zoning Code. Should the use change for <br />which the permit was granted, the conditional use permit shall be considered <br />null and void. <br />7. The garage shall be designed and maintained to be aesthetically pleasing and <br />complementary to the existing dwelling. <br />4. The Conditional Use Permit (CUP) shall become null and void if the work for <br />which the CUP was granted is not completed within one year from the date of <br />approval unless a petition for extension of time in which to complete the work has <br />been granted by the City Council. <br />5. Approval of the Conditional Use Permit in no way infers approval of any <br />subsequent planning request.
