RESOLUTION 8503 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISIONS TO CRITERIA FOR <br /> CITIZEN OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizen of the Year Award recognizes ordinary <br /> citizens who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to improving their communities; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, at the January 4, 2016, Work Session, it was the consensus of the City <br /> Council to revise the eligibility requirements for Citizen of the Year to allow non-business <br /> owners and non-residents, who have contributed generously to the City, to be nominated; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff and the City Council revised the eligibility and selection criteria <br /> as attached to this resolution (Exhibit A). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br /> hereby approve the attached eligibility and selection criteria for Citizen of the Year. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of January, 2016. <br /> ire, <br /> Joe Flah6Fty, 4 a o <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
