• RESOLUTION 6900 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF A TRAINING CONTRACT WITH <br />CENTURY COLLEGE FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 2006 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2007 <br />WHEREAS, Century-College has been providing the Mounds View Police Department <br />with POST certified. law enforcement training since 1994; <br />WHEREAS, The current contract for training expired June 30, 2006; <br />WHEREAS, Century College usually offers training courses more than once during the <br />training year; <br />WHEREAS, Century College charges $445.00 per reserved training slot for six or more <br />reserved slots; <br />WHEREAS, six training slots will be reserved for this contract period to contain the <br />training cost within the police budget; <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Mounds <br />View approves the renewal of a law enforcement training contract from September 1, <br />2006 through June 30, 2007 with Century College at a total cost of $2670.00 for that <br />contract period. <br />Adopted thi 4th day of August 2006. <br />_~~ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />~~~..~ <br />-- <br />ATTEST: Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />• <br />
