RESOLUTION N0. 6902 <br />• CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AMENDING CONTRACT FOR FIRE PROTECTOIN .SERVICES; AMENDED EXHIBIT <br />A (LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY) <br />WHEREAS, City Council Resolution and the Capital Improvement Plan for the Spring <br />Lake Park Fire Department, Inc. have included construction of a new fire station and; <br />WHEREAS, the contract for fire protection includes as one component, Exhibit A, which <br />details real property owned by the City of Blaine subject to control of the Joint Powers <br />Agreement signed by the cities of Spring Lake Park, Mounds View and Blaine and; <br />WHEREAS, upon completion of the new fire station the Fire Department has notified <br />the three cities of Spring Lake Park, Blaine, and Mounds View that they will be vacating <br />the current Station Three located at 1314.109th Avenue and Station Five located at <br />1200 Paul Parkway effective October 1, 2006 and; <br />• WHEREAS, the Fire Department Board of Directors at their July 17th, 2006 adopted a <br />resolution to amend the contract with Amended Exhibit A, Description of the Premises. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, which authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Administrator of the City of <br />Mounds View to execute any and all documents to the Contract for Fire Protection with <br />the Spring Lake Park Fire Department, Inc. specific to Amended Exhibit A and effective <br />October 1, 2006 <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mounds View this 14th Day of August, 2006 <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator/Clerk <br />• <br />(SEAL) <br />
