RESOLUTION 6953 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A HANDICAPPED <br />DOOR OPENING SYSTEM AT CITY HALL <br />WHEREAS, the City Council indicated a desire to have a door opening <br />system reinstalled in the new City Hall vestibule entrance; and <br />WHEREAS, quotes for the installation of a handicapped door opening <br />system at City Hall were solicited; and <br />WHEREAS, a total of three (3) quotes were solicited and two (2) were <br />received with the low quote submitted by Twin City Hardware in the amount of <br />$6,931.09 including an electrician and tax; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Hall Rehabilitation Project account (Account No. 280- <br />4160-7050-100) is recommended to fund this installation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />A contract for the installation of a handicapped door opening <br />system at City Hall is awarded to Twin City Hardware in the amount <br />of $6,931.09 including an electrician and tax. <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with said contractor, contingent on <br />City legal counsel approval. <br />3.
