RESOLUTION NO. 8515 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE <br /> 2015 MOUNDS VIEW CITIZENS OF THE YEAR AWARD <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizen of the Year Award recognizes ordinary citizens <br /> who have demonstrated initiative to improving the community, whose service or performance <br /> exemplifies the spirit of giving back and who inspire others in their volunteer efforts.; and <br /> WHEREAS, nominations were solicited from the public and were reviewed by the City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor, of Fedor's Market, were selected and meet the <br /> criteria outlined in the policy; and <br /> WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor, as business owners of Mounds View, have <br /> exemplified the courage and determination to follow their values; and <br /> WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor have demonstrated drive and initiative in their <br /> approach to citizenship and have worked steadfastly with various community groups and <br /> organizations; and <br /> WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor volunteered a significant amount of time and <br /> energy to further community causes and issues; and <br /> WHEREAS, their efforts have generated positive results for the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor have contributed their efforts unselfishly, not <br /> expecting anything in return. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br /> hereby present the 2015 Mounds View Citizens of the Year Award to Gordy and Paul Fedor, <br /> of Fedor's Market, in sincere gratitude and appreciation for their efforts as Mounds View <br /> business owers. <br /> Adopted this 8th day of February, 2016. <br /> ` c ice// <br /> oe Flahe , ' -yor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 6\--/AAAUL8 EVAAfr4017 — <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
