RESOLUTION NO. 6974 <br />CITY OF 1VIOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Adopting the 2007 Property Tas Levy <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted munerous meetings and has made available detailed <br />copies of the proposed 2007 Eittdget; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on December 4, 2006 to take commeirt on the <br />proposed 2007 levy; and <br />WHEREAS, General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 2004 were issued and require a debt service <br />levy of $188,576 to be collected in 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, when the Fire Improvement Bonds of 1991 were issued, the City's 2007 debt service <br />payment was scheduled to be $76,261, however, due to changes in the allocation of costs between <br />participating cities, Mounds View's actual 2007 debt service cost on said bonds will be $63,617; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Improvement Bonds of 2005 were issued and require a debt service levy of <br />• $97,710 to be collected in 2007. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that <br />the following property tax levy for 2007 is hereby approved: <br />General levy $ 3,412,286 <br />Fire Bonds of 1991 levy 63,617 <br />Fire Bonds of 200.5 levy 97'710 <br />PERA rate increase levy 6,145 <br />Police Referendum net tax capacity levy 70,000 <br />Total General Fund 2006 property tax levy ~3 649,758 <br />G.O. Improvement Bonds of 2004 debt service levy $188,576 <br />Total Debt Service property tax levy 18_8 5_76 <br />Total Property Tax Levy $' 8'8•'34 <br />and the City Clerk-Administrator is hereby directed to notify Ramsey County and the State of <br />Minnesota of said 2007 property tax levy. <br />Said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 1 lth day of December, 2006. <br />CJ <br />
