• RESOLUTION NO. 7003 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />CIVIL PENALTY AND LIQUOR LICENSE SUSPENSION OF THE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />OF ABC LIQUOR <br />WHEREAS, Ge Xiong is the license holder for ABC Liquor located at 2840 <br />County Road 10, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has charged employees <br />of ABC Liquor with the criminal sale of alcoholic beverages to minors on two separate <br />dates and sale of tobacco on one date, in 2006, and; <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Xiong was given an opportunity for a public hearing on January <br />22, 2007. The Mounds View City Council has found that ABC Liquor has failed to <br />comply with MN Law pertaining to the sale of liquor and tobacco to minors and as a <br />consequence the City Council is penalizing ABC Liquor for the violations consistent with <br />M N Law. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby impose a civil penalty of $2000 to Mr. Xiong, and suspend the liquor <br />license for ABC Liquor for 30 days.
