RESOLUTION 8530 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ACCEPT IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVE FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE 2015 SANITARY <br /> SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT. <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works prepared project documents for the repair work in accordance with <br /> industry standards, and a public bid solicitation was sent out with 4 bids being received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hydro-Klean LLC of Des Moines, Iowa, submitted the lowest bid in the amount <br /> of $240,030.81; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council approved a construction contract with Hydro-Klean LLC to perform <br /> the sanitary sewer work for$240,030.81 in Resolution 8421; and, <br /> WHEREAS, City Council approved additional funding in the amount of $4,207.48 for <br /> necessary contract modifications to complete the project in Resolution 8525; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Hydro-Klean LLC has successfully completed all project construction and met all <br /> other contract requirements for the Project with a substantial completion date of October 20, 2015 <br /> and a final construction cost of$253,838.29; and <br /> WHEREAS, City staff recommends accepting the completed construction work and issuing <br /> final payment for $19,892.33 to Hydro-Klean LLC. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. All work completed under the contract between the City and Hydro-Klean LLC for construction of <br /> the 2015 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project is hereby accepted and approved. <br /> 2.
