RESOLUTION 8531 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,853 AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS, since its establishment in Mounds View in 2004, Bethlehem Baptist <br /> Church has generously supported activities that have benefited the residents of Mounds <br /> View; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by <br /> making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $15,853 to support the following <br /> programs and activities: <br /> Music in the Park $1,500 <br /> Movie in the Park $1,500 <br /> Annual Campaign $2,000 <br /> Festival in the Park 5K $1,853 <br /> Community Engagement Activities $2,000 <br /> Festival in the Park $2,000 <br /> Quincy House $2,000 <br /> Community Resource Center $3,000 <br /> for Homelessness Prevention <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br /> gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation of $15,853 from Bethlehem Baptist <br /> Church, authorizes the distribution of the funds as directed herein, and approves the <br /> amendment of the 2016 Budget as may be necessary. <br /> Adopted this 14th day of March, 2016 <br /> Flaherty, Ma • <br /> ATTEST: S <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> *RI) <br />
