RESOLUTION NO. 7006 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING THE COMMUNITY PARTNERS WITH YOUTH A ONE DAY <br />PERMIT TO CONDUCT A RAFFLE AT THE MERMAID ENTERTAINMENT AND <br />EVENT CENTER IN MOUNDS VIEW <br />WHEREAS, the Community Partners with Youth has requested that the Council <br />allow them to conduct charitable gambling at Pinewood Elementary School on October 25, <br />2007; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />(city of county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct <br />charitable gambling/raffles; and <br />WHEREAS, the Community partners with Youth is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling <br />regulations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize Community Partners with Youth to conduct charitable gambling at The <br />Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center on October 25, 2007. <br />Adopted this 2nd day of January, 2007. <br />C~G~-~- <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />• <br />
