RESOLUTION NO. 7013 <br />.CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION DENYING A MINOR SUBDIVISION OF 8184 EASTWOOD ROAD <br />. REQUESTED BY ABIDING SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH; <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. M106-002 <br />WHEREAS, Property owner Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, located at 8211 Red <br />Oak Drive, (the Applicant) has requested approval of a minor subdivision of 8184 Eastwood <br />Road, property zoned R-1, Single Family Residential, legally-described as follows: <br />The North 101.25 Feet of the South 810 Feet of the East 528 Feet of the <br />West 1, 584 Feet of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 30, <br />Range 23, subject to easements for road and utility purposes. <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant proposes to split off the existing home and 16,025 square <br />feet (Parcel B) from the above described parcel to create a presently non-buildable 34,900 <br />square foot lot (Parcel A) with 10.72 feet of access onto Eastwood Road; and, <br />WHEREAS, while proposed Parcel B satisfies all City Code requirements, Parcel A <br />• would be non-conforming as a buildable lot in that it would not satisfy the minimum street <br />frontage requirement of 75 feet; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant has indicated a desire to combine Parcel A with their other <br />property which comprises 6.31 acres, increasing the area to 7.11 acres, well in excess of the. <br />two acre maximum area allowed for a minor subdivision. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council denies the <br />minor subdivision of 8184 Eastwood Road and concurrent combination or Parcel A with 8211 <br />Red Oak Drive as the request exceeds the allowances provided by the Minor Subdivision <br />process. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that if the Applicant so intends to <br />increase the size of its property at 8211 Red Oak Drive that a Major Subdivision (plat) of the <br />property will be required. <br />Adopted this 12th day of February, 2007. <br />,d,,9 <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />• ATTEST: ' <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Clerk /Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
