RESOLUTION 7015 <br />• <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPOINTING JOHN KROEGER AND DARREN PETERSON TO THE PARKS AND <br />RECREATION AND FORESTRY COMMISSION AND APPOINTING JERRY KUNZ AS <br />CHAIRPERSON <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission <br />consists of members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the majority of the City Council; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, there are currently two vacant seats to fill; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received one application by John Kroeger for re- <br />appointment to the Commission for the two vacant seats; and <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City re-advertised for applications to fill the one remaining seat; <br />WHEREAS, the City received two applications for the remaining seat; and <br />• <br />• <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission made a motion <br />recommending John Kroeger's re-appointment to the Parks and Recreation and Forestry <br />Commission, and Darren Peterson's appointment to the Parks and Recreation and Forestry <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission made a motion <br />recommending the appointment of Jerry Kunz as Chairperson to the Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The Mayor and the City Council do hereby approve the following Mounds View residents <br />to serve on the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission: <br />Name <br />John Kroeger <br />Darren Peterson <br />Term Expiration <br />December 31, 2009 <br />December 31, 2009 <br />2.
