RESOLUTION NO. 8540 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVE COUNTY ROAD I CONCRETE REHABILITATION PROJECT COST SHARE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County has established a Transportation Improvement Program for the <br /> County Road network; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Program includes County Road I Concrete <br /> Rehabilitation project in Mounds View; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County Road I Concrete Rehabilitation project will replace the existing <br /> temporary signal located at the intersection of County Road I and Quincy Street with a permanent <br /> signal; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is responsible for the cost of two of the four legs of the <br /> Quincy Street signal; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Quincy Street is part of Mounds View's Municipal State Aid street network; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Quincy Street signal is eligible for State Aid funding; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County Road I Concrete Rehabilitation project will repair a patch that was <br /> placed due to a water service break. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey <br /> County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The County Road I Concrete Rehabilitation cost share agreement is approved and the Mayor <br /> and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed, for and on behalf of the City, to <br /> execute and enter into said agreement <br /> 2. The Mayor and City Administrator and staff are hereby authorized and directed to take any <br /> and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent <br /> of this Resolution. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of April, 2016 <br /> f r <br /> fj <br /> I <br /> .
