RESOLUTION NO. 6635 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEDTRONIC CRM FINAL PLAT PLANNING CASE MA2005-002 WHEREAS, Medtronic, Inc., has submitted an application for a Major Subdivision to plat the 85 acres of land associated with the Medtronic CRM project area and is requesting approval of the Medtronic CRM Final Plat date-stamped October 31, 2005 prepared by E. G. Rud and Sons, Inc.; and, WHEREAS, the land to be subdivided by Medtronic represents the former Mounds View Bridges Golf Course located north of Highway 10 and west of Interstate 35W at 8290 Coral Sea Street, and adjoining parcels in the city of Blaine, al( legally described as follows: Refer fo Exhibit A WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing and approved the Medtronic CRM preliminary plat on October 10, 2005; and, s reviewed Title 1200 of the Mounds View Municipal WHEREAS, the City Council ha Code pertaining to subdivisions of land and conditions of final plat approval; and, WHEREAS, the Medtronic CRM Final Plat is consistent with the approved Medtronic CRM Preliminary Plat. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council makes the following findings of fact related to the Medtronic CRM preliminary plat: 1. The fins( plat date-stamped October 31, 2005 is consistent and complies with the City's subdivision regulations as articulated in Title 1200. 2. The submitted final plat is consistent with the Mounds View Comprehensive Plan. 3. Easements sufficient to protect all water courses, ponds, wetlands and drainage areas and public utilities are provided and dedicated on the final plat. 4. Excess right of way and excess easements will be vacated according to the regulations and requirements of the City of Mounds View and state of Minnesota. 5. Park dedication fees in the amount of $865,000 have been negotiated between the City and Medtronic and will be due at the time of Phase 1 building permit approval. •
