RESOLUTION NO. 6635 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEDTRONIC CRM FINAL PLAT <br />PLANNING CASE MA2005-002 <br />WHEREAS, Medtronic, Inc., has submitted an application for a Major Subdivision to <br />plat the 85 acres of land associated with the Medtronic CRM project area and is requesting <br />approval of the Medtronic CRM Final Plat date-stamped October 31, 2005 prepared by E. G. <br />Rud and Sons, Inc.; and, <br />WHEREAS, the land to be subdivided by Medtronic represents the former Mounds <br />View Bridges Golf Course located north of Highway 10 and west of Interstate 35W at 8290 <br />Coral Sea Street, and adjoining parcels in the city of Blaine, al( legally described as follows: <br />Refer fo Exhibit A <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing and approved the <br />Medtronic CRM preliminary plat on October 10, 2005; and, <br />s reviewed Title 1200 of the Mounds View Municipal <br />WHEREAS, the City Council ha <br />Code pertaining to subdivisions of land and conditions of final plat approval; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Medtronic CRM Final Plat is consistent with the approved Medtronic <br />CRM Preliminary Plat. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council makes the <br />following findings of fact related to the Medtronic CRM preliminary plat: <br />1. The fins( plat date-stamped October 31, 2005 is consistent and complies with <br />the City's subdivision regulations as articulated in Title 1200. <br />2. The submitted final plat is consistent with the Mounds View Comprehensive Plan. <br />3. Easements sufficient to protect all water courses, ponds, wetlands and drainage <br />areas and public utilities are provided and dedicated on the final plat. <br />4. Excess right of way and excess easements will be vacated according to the <br />regulations and requirements of the City of Mounds View and state of Minnesota. <br />5. Park dedication fees in the amount of $865,000 have been negotiated between the <br />City and Medtronic and will be due at the time of Phase 1 building permit approval. <br />• <br />
