RESOLUTION 6685 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE EQUIMPMENT UTILIZING <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT FUNDING FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT RENOVATION <br />PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has planned for and budgeted <br />funding to help cover the purchase of office equipment to equip the Police Department <br />renovation Project, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department has a need to replace office seating that is stained, <br />broken, and have mechanisms that no longer function. The Police Department searched for <br />office seating carried on the state bid that was value priced and durable, and; <br />WHEREAS, the state bid price for a durable office task chair, the Steelcase Trooper <br />Mid Back Armless, he is $242.35 per chair. The state bid price for a durable side chair, the <br />Tolleson armless side chair is $146.15, and the state bid price for a KI Piretti Stack break <br />room chair is $160. To replace the broken or malfunctioning chairs the Police Department <br />requiresl4 task chairs, 12 side chairs, and three break room chairs. Total cost for these <br />items is $5,992.44. Hendrickson PSG workspace solutions for government and nonprofits <br />carry the state bid for these items. <br />i <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Mounds <br />View approves an expenditure of $5,992.44 from the 2005 police budget for the purchase of <br />office seating from Hendrickson PSG workspace solutions for government and nonprofits. <br />Adopted this 12th day of December 2005. <br />~~ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor. <br />ATTEST: <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />• <br />
