RESOLUTION 6768 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING OF OUT OF STATE CONFERENCE/SCHOOLING WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Purchasing Policy on March 25, 2002; and WHEREAS, said out of state conferences need to be approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, Staff is requesting the approval for one of the Public Works Department Staff to attend the ATSSA conference and four of the Public Works Department Staff to attend the Elgin Crosswind School; and WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted for 2006 in the Pavement Management Fund (100-4470-3630), Street Cleaning Fund (245-417-3630), Snow and Ice Control Fund (100-4472- 3630), Vehicle and Equipment Fund (100-4465-3630) for training; and WHEREAS, the City Charter, Section 7.08 gives the City Council authority to amend the budget by resolution; and WHEREAS, all allowable expenditures that are incurred according to the Purchasing Policy will be reimbursed to staff with the appropriate receipts. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council fo the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: • 1. That Bruce Meehan to attend an out of state conference on March 21~ and 22"d in Fargo, North Dakota. Also for Bruce Meehan, Tim Fredberg, Nich Fleischhacker and Steve Vacek to attend an out of state seminar on June 20th and 21~ in Elgin, Illinois are hereby approved. 2. All allowable expenditures will be reimbursed to Staff that are in the City of Mounds View Purchasing Policy with appropriate receipts of expenses. That the 2006 Budget is hereby amended to transfer training funds from the Pavement Management Fund 100-4470-3630 in the amount of $650, Snow and Ice Control Fund 100-4472-3630 in the amount of $250, and the Vehicle and Equipment Fund 100-4465-3630 in the amount of $350 to the Street Training Fund (245-417-3630).
