RESOLUTION 6792 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING LAUMEYER & ASSOCIATES TO CONDUCT A SALARY <br />COMPENSATION STUDY AND PAY EQUITY REPORT FOR <br />MOUNDS VIEW CITY EMPLOYEES <br />WHEREAS, it has been discussed by the Mounds View Human Resources <br />Committee to revise the Mounds View Personnel Policy in regard to salary <br />compensation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources Committee recommends a salary <br />compensation study that puts into consideration population, city market value, and <br />taxable tax capacity instead of just using Stanton 6 cities (population 10,000 - 25,000) <br />as outlined in the Personnel Manual; and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 6732 authorized Staff to advertise for a RFP to conduct a <br />salary compensation study and pay equity report; and <br />• WHEREAS, four (4) companies submitted quotes to provide a salary <br />compensation study and pay equity report; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest quote was from Laumeyer & Associates in the amount of <br />~_f~C~ <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council approved <br />Laumeyer & Associates to conduct a salary compensation study and pay equity report <br />in the amount of $ l 1~ ~~ <br />Adopted this 10th day of April, 2006. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Ku Ulrich, City dministrator <br />(seal) <br />
