• RESOLUTION 6800 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS AND SETTING A BID DATE FOR THE <br />MEDTRONIC UTILITY EXTENSION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, on March 27, 2006, the City Council approved Resolution <br />6786 approving the preliminary feasibility report, waiving the public improvement <br />hearing, holding a public informational meeting, ordering the project, and <br />authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the Hidden Hallow <br />South Street and Utility Installation Project; and <br />WHEREAS, plans and specifications for this project have been <br />prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost is $132,635 based on <br />the plans and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, as per state statute, with an estimated contract amount <br />in excess of $100,000, publication must be made at least three weeks before the <br />last day to submit bids; and <br />WHEREAS, a June 1, 2006, 10:00 a.m. bid date will provide ample <br />time to provide the required notification to contractors as per state statute. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The plans and specifications for the Hidden Hollow South Street <br />and Utility Installation Project, which were prepared pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 6786, adopted by the City Council on March 27, <br />2006 are hereby approved as the plans and specifications in <br />accordance with which said improvements shall be constructed. <br />2. A date to receive bids for said improvements is hereby established <br />as June 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. <br />3. That Staff is hereby directed to cause to be published in the New <br />Brighton Bulletin and in the Construction Bulletin, at least three <br />weeks before the last day to submit bids, a notice to bidders for the <br />implementation of said project as required by law. <br />Adopted this 24h day of April 2006. <br />
