RESOLUTION 7033 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ADOPTING THE DRAFT VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT, GOALS, <br />PROGRAM, VALUES STATEMENT AND RULES OF CONDUCT <br />WHEREAS, in February of 2006, the Mounds View City Council and <br />Department Heads held a leadership retreat for the purpose of strategic planning <br />and team building; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and Department Heads discussed the past, <br />present and future and responded with a plan to respond to the opportunities <br />facing the City of Mounds View over the next two years; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and Department Heads developed a shared <br />vision for success by agreeing on a draft vision, mission statement, values <br />statement and rules of conduct that will be presented to the citizens at a Town <br />Hall Meeting on April 14, 2007. <br />NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council hereby adopt the City of Mounds View Vision Statement (Exhibit A), <br />Mission Statement (Exhibit B), Goals Program (Exhibit C), Values Statement <br />(Exhibit D) and Rules of Conduct (Exhibit E). <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 12t" day of March, 2007. <br />~~ - - <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /><~ <br />urt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
