RESOLUTION N0.7076 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Kurt Ulnch, <br />City Clerk /Administrator <br />RECOGNITION OF LEVEL B CERTIFICATION IN THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />PROPERTY MAINTENANCE AND CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAMS <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 731 was adopted in 2004 and recognizes rental properties for the <br />successful completion of property maintenance and fire prevention inspections and pro-active <br />implementation of crime prevention activities; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 731 established three levels ofparticipation in a voluntary property <br />maintenance and crime prevention program; and <br />WHEREAS, Scotland Green, The Sands, and Silver Wood Apartments are professionally <br />managed by Cedar Management Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, Cedar Management Inc. has successfully completed the necessary requirements <br />established in the voluntary certification program, including regular attendance at the New <br />Brighton/Mounds View Property Managers' Coalition; successful completion of property <br />maintenance and fire prevention inspections and implementation of proven crime prevention <br />techniques. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />recognize Cedar Management Inc. and Scotland Green, The Sands, and Silver Wood Apartments for <br />achieving Level B certification in the Mounds View Property Maintenance and Crime Prevention <br />Program. <br />Adopted this 2 `d day of April, 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />,.,,.._. <br />~r <br />Rob Marty, Mayon <br />Councilmem er Mueller Cou iii lmember Stig~ ey <br />~~ <br />,% <br />Counci ember Hull Councilm ber aherty <br />~`r~,~ <br />
