RESOLUTION 8608 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE 2016 SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION <br /> PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council awarded a contract for the 2016 Sanitary <br /> Sewer Rehabilitation Project (City Project No. 2016-004) to Lametti & Sons, Inc.; and, <br /> WHEREAS, two emergency sanitary sewer repairs have been performed on the sanitary <br /> sewer main under Spring Lake Road in the last year; and, <br /> WHEREAS, lining an additional 795 feet of sanitary sewer on Spring Lake Road will <br /> greatly reduce the chances for additional emergency repairs; and, <br /> WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding available in the Sanitary Sewer Fund (730-4823- <br /> 7050) to add the additional lining to the contract with Lametti & Sons, Inc.; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Lametti & Sons, Inc. has the capacity to complete this work in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The lining of an additional 795 linear feet of sanitary sewer under Spring Lake Road <br /> shall be added to the existing contract with Lametti & Sons, Inc. <br /> 2. The 2016 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project funding is increased in the amount of <br /> $18,285.00, with no increase in the contingency amount. <br /> 3.
