RESOLUTION NO. 8610 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF NETWORK CABLE FOR SECURITY <br /> CAMERAS AT CITY HALL AND THE COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to improve security in and around City <br /> facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has provided a grant of $2,000 for <br /> the installation of cameras at the Community Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has been working with the City of Roseville staff and their <br /> cabling contractor to design a system that will provide for an initial installation of <br /> cameras and for future installations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the first step in camera installation is to install cable to connect <br /> cameras at both City Hall and the Community Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, MTG has provided a quote of $11,819 to install all necessary <br /> cable, connections, racks, and switches, and to test all connections. The Special <br /> Projects Fund has a budget of $40,000 for cabling and cameras. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View does authorize the installation of cable by MTG at City Hall and the <br /> Community Center. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of July, 2016. <br /> )44- <br /> Flaherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> -61411-46 <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
