RESOLUTION NO. 8612 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SECURITY CAMERAS FOR CITY HALL <br /> AND THE COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to improve security in and around City <br /> facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has provided a grant of $2,000 for <br /> the installation of cameras at the Community Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has been working with the City of Roseville IT staff and <br /> their cabling contractor to design a system that will provide for an initial installation <br /> of cameras and for future installations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the network cables are being installed and will soon be ready <br /> for cameras to be plugged in; and <br /> WHEREAS, Paragon Solutions Group has provided the lowest quote for the <br /> complete camera system of $29,391. The Special Projects Fund has a budget of <br /> $40,000 for cabling and security cameras and $40,000 additional budget for <br /> Community Center improvements. The total network cabling and security camera <br /> project will be $41,210. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View does authorize the purchase of security cameras from Paragon <br /> Solutions Group for $29,391. <br /> Adopted this 25th day of July, 2016. <br /> jes i <br /> ter,,, oe Flaherty, Mayof <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
