ORDINANCE NO.922 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 105 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE REGARDING MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL ANNUAL COMPENSATION <br /> The City of Mounds View Ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. In accordance with Minnesota Statutes and Section 2.07 of the Mounds View City <br /> Charter,the City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Section 105.03 of the Mounds <br /> View Municipal Code relating to annual compensation by stfiking old language and underlining new <br /> language as follows: <br /> 105.03: COMPENSATION: <br /> Subd. 1. Mayor's Compensation: The salary of the Mayor is fixed at seven thousand five hundred six <br /> thousand three hundred dollars ($7,500 6,390.00)per year. <br /> Subd. 2. Councilmembers' Salaries: The salary of the Councilmembers is fixed at six thousand seven <br /> hundred and fifty five thousand seven hundred dollars ($6,750 5,700.00)per year. <br /> SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br /> following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: <br /> On August 8,2016,the City Council adopted Ordinance 922 that amends Section 105.03 of <br /> the Mounds View City Code relating to Mayor and City Council compensation. After <br /> thirteen years without an adjustment, the annual compensation for Mayor shall increase to <br /> $7,500 from $6,300, and compensation for the City Council shall increase to $6,750 from <br /> $5,700,both effective January 1, 2017. <br /> A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection during regular business hours at <br /> Mounds View City Hall and is available on line at the City's web site located at <br /> www.ci.mounds-view.mn.us. <br /> SECTION 3.
