ORDINANCE 927 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1100, CHAPTERS 1102, 1103,AND 1106 OF THE <br /> MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE RELATING TO ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS <br /> The City of Mounds View Ordains: <br /> SECTION 1.The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100,Chapter 1102, <br /> of the Mounds View City Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken material <br /> as follows: <br /> Chapter 1102: Zoning Rules and Definitions <br /> Section1102.02: Definitions: The following words and terms,wherever they occur in this <br /> Code, shall be defined as follows: <br /> Subd. 43. DWELLING,TWO-FAMILY: A dwelling designed exclusively for occupancy by <br /> two (2)families living independently of each other, also known as double bungalow, <br /> duplex, side-by-side two (2)-family dwellings. An Accessory Dwelling Unit is not a <br /> Two-Family Dwelling. <br /> Subd. : DWELLING UNIT,ACCESSORY:a dwelling unit that is located on the same lot as <br /> a single-family dwelling to which it is accessory to;and is internal or an addition onto <br /> the principal dwelling. <br /> SECTION 2.The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100,Chapter 1103, <br /> of the Mounds View City Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken material <br /> as follows: <br /> 1103.02: DWELLING UNIT RESTRICTIONS: <br /> Subd. 1. No cellar,garage,tent,recreational vehicle,travel trailer or accessory building shall at <br /> any time be used as an independent residence or dwelling unit, temporarily or <br /> permanently, except as permitted pursuant to Section 1106.03, Subd 10 (Accessory <br /> Dwelling Units). <br /> SECTION 3.The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100,Chapter 1106, <br /> of the Mounds View City Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken material <br /> as follows: <br />
