RESOLUTION NO. 8632 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO <br /> PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER SAMANTHA DREWRY <br /> WHEREAS, Samantha Drewry submitted her resignation and her last day of employment <br /> was August 30, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 0.74 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 0.62 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused compensatory time is 13.03 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, Samantha Drewry's current rate of pay is $19.23 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, the <br /> maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 0.74 hours x 50%x her hourly rate of <br /> $19.23 = $7.11 into Samantha Drewry's Retirement Health Savings Plan (RHSP); and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45(c)of the Mounds View Personnel Manual,the <br /> maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 0.62 hours x 50% x her hourly <br /> rate of$19.23= $5.96 into Samantha Drewry's RHSP; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, the <br /> maximum potential cash payout of the remaining balance of Ms. Drewry's accrued/unused vacation <br /> time will be 0.62 hours x 50% x her hourly rate of$19.23= $5.96; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual the <br /> maximum potential cash payout of Ms. Drewry's accrued/unused compensatory time will be 13.03 x <br /> her hourly rate of$19.23 = $250.56. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a one- <br /> time payout of sick time and vacation time not to exceed $13.07 into Ms. Drewry's RHSP in <br /> accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a <br /> one-time cash payout of vacation and compensatory time not to exceed $256.52 in accordance <br /> with Sections 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> Adop d this 26th day of September, 2016. <br /> oz.- II/Lir <br /> e Flaherty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST. <br /> - _ ( vu 2.
