RESOLUTION 8630 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> Approving a Transfer of Ownership for an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License from <br /> Applebaum, LLC (doing business as Big Top Liquors) <br /> to <br /> Merwin Liquors <br /> Located at 2577 Mounds View Boulevard <br /> WHEREAS, Merwin Liquors has a purchase agreement with Applebaum, LLC to <br /> purchase Big Top Liquors located at 2577 Mounds View Boulevard; and <br /> WHEREAS, all City of Mounds View business licenses must be approved by the City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, Merwin Liquors submitted all required City and State liquor license <br /> application materials and fees; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reviewed all application materials; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License <br /> transfer to the Merwin Liquors contingent on a satisfactory background check and a <br /> satisfactory fire inspection. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br /> hereby approve an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License transfer to Merwin Liquors <br /> contingent on a satisfactory background check and a satisfactory fire inspection. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license will expire on <br /> June 30, 2017. <br /> Adopted this 26th day of September, 2016. <br /> • / <br /> 4eridtio <br /> J.- Flaherty, ' - v• <br /> ATTEST: - <br /> • <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal)_ <br />
