RESOLUTION NO. 8641 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO <br /> RECEPTIONIST/RECYCLING COORDINATOR <br /> MARY SPRINGER <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Springer submitted her resignation effective October 5, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 99.26 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 102.98 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused compensatory time is 33.25 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Springer's current rate of pay is $23.31 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, the <br /> maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 99.26 hours x 50% x her hourly <br /> rate of$23.31 = $1,156.87 into Mary Springer's Retirement Health Savings Plan (RHSP); and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45(c) of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, <br /> the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 102.98 hours x her <br /> hourly rate of$23.31= $2,400.46 into Mary Springer's RHSP; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual the <br /> maximum potential cash payout of Mary Springer's accrued/unused compensatory time will be <br /> 33.25 x her hourly rate of$23.31 = $775.05. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a <br /> one-time payout of sick time and vacation time not to exceed $3,557.33 into Ms. Springer's <br /> RHSP in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a <br /> one-time cash payout of compensatory time not to exceed $775.05 in accordance with Sections <br /> 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> Adopted this 10th day of October, 2016. <br /> 4-,w; <br /> -glee Flaherty; Mayor 6 Ac:_:tr-q) <br /> ATTEST: tI <br /> 6\7/44446 sFAAAAc ?))" <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
